今年79岁的张得顺醉心传统水墨数十年，目前正举办第一次书画个展“润泽”，展示多年来苦心探索水墨画的成果。

张得顺早年在中正中学学习，也是南洋美专校友、新加坡艺术协会会员，1975年曾参加新加坡国庆美展，2017年以《你的风采》获得林子平艺术比赛大奖。

张得顺自学绘画，对艺术有自己的见解。展览中的重点为倒影系列。张得顺一次看到滨海艺术中心的倒影，联想到悉尼歌剧院，因此创作了几幅倒影构图形式的水墨画，寄寓人与人、国与国之间的和谐意念。他也把新加坡国家美术馆的倒影描绘成巴黎卢浮宫的样子，新加坡河畔映照出丹麦童话小镇，视角独特。《三个时代》是新加坡建国历程的缩影。《月亮掉进池塘里》用色妙。

展览即日起至9月2日，每天中午12时至傍晚6时，在维多利亚美术馆（百胜楼#03-43）举行，入场免费。

At the age of 79, Mr. Teo Teck Soon, a dedicated practitioner of traditional Chinese ink painting for decades, is holding his first solo exhibition titled "润泽" (润泽, meaning 'moistening' or 'nourishing'). This exhibition showcases the fruits of his years of dedicated exploration in ink painting.

A former student of Chung Cheng High School and an alumnus of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Mr. Teo Teck Soon is also a member of the Singapore Art Society. He participated in the Singapore National Day Art Exhibition in 1975 and won the grand prize in the Lim Tze Peng Art Competition in 2017 with his work "Your Grace".

A self-taught artist, Mr. Teo Teck Soon has his own unique perspective on art. A highlight of the exhibition is his "Reflection" series. Inspired by the reflection of the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, Mr. Teo Teck Soon created several ink paintings using a reflection composition, conveying the harmonious relationship between people and nations. He also depicted the reflection of the National Gallery Singapore as the Paris Louvre and the Singapore River as a Danish fairytale town,offering unique perspectives. "Three Eras" is a microcosm of Singapore's nation-building journey. "The Moon Falls into the Pond" is particularly striking for its use of color.

The exhibition is held at the Victoria Art Gallery (#03-43, Bras Bersah Complext) from now until September 2nd, from 12 noon to 6 pm daily. Admission is free.
